A poem for Youngstown
Uncategorized — Posted on October 6, 2008 at 5:34 amYou say we have long been dying
I see a new beginning
We have so many years
To make it right
The crimes of nights our time will heal
The devotion of caring
Person to person
Nourishing the love
Strong is the substance of ideas
We will plant
In our children
They will grow and know
Our problems are small in the grand
We will make it through this
My faults love your faults
We need each other now and on

The last two lines are my favorite. Lovely.
