Robocall Scare Tactics

Apparently it wasn’t enough that Obama explained his Ayers connection last night. The GOP has entered desperation mode and is robo-calling swing-state voters with tidings of fear and loathing:

“Hello, I’m calling for John McCain and the RNC, because you need to know that Barack Obama has worked closely with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, whose organization bombed the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, a judge’s home, and killed Americans. And Democrats will enact an extreme leftist agenda if they take control of Washington. Barack Obama and his Democratic allies lack the judgment to lead our country. This call was paid for by McCain-Palin 2008 and the Republican National Committee at 202-863-8500.”

Unable to compellingly state their case for a McCain-Palin administration, they have decided to simply claim that because Obama has worked with the 1997 Chicago Citizen of the Year who has reformed himself from his heinous ’60s deeds, he lacks Presidential judgment. I guess Chicago Mayor Daley, who awarded Ayers in ‘97 is a super traitor? Along with Walter Annenberg, probably. Incredible.
