Forum on local media tonight at Lemon Grove

The Lemon Grove has quickly worked its way into the local scene, providing a place where the community can meet (at all hours) and eat (new chef; new menu). Thursdays and Fridays, you can now come early (8:30am) for muffins, coffee and other assorted late-to-bed-early-to-rise necessities.

On the weekends, you can catch live music. Any old night, you can come and play a game of Scrabble. (I played with some good friends Thanksgiving night and was winning handily. Somehow, after I left the table briefly to chat with a friend, I ended up losing.)

Monday nights, you can catch community discussion night. Tonight at 7:30pm is just such a night, featuring the topic “the role of local media: past present future.” I will be one of the panelists, along with–I think–Louie Free and perhaps some others. I hope to see some blog readers there, and if we haven’t yet had a chance to meet, please introduce yourself. I would love to meet you.

    Tyler,

Have you done any live blogging at the Lemon Grove? Janko and I talked about doing it while I was in Youngstown, but were unable to fit it into the schedule. A weekly live blogging salon would be a good way to connect the overall community with the social media community.
