Take a look at what we can do together

WYSU Advisory Board

WYSU

In August 2009, WYSU-FM added local technology consultant and community activist Tyler Clark to its Advisory Board. “My family and I listen to WYSU every day, and we’ve been proud supporters of the station for years,” Clark said. “I’m honored to serve on WYSU’s Board and look forward to helping the station toward continued growth in programming and membership.”

Since its first broadcast in 1969, WYSU—FM has provided fine arts public radio to Youngstown, Ohio and the surrounding areas. It promotes the artistic and educational activities of the university.

The station is a cultural leader in the community, providing fine arts radio programming and also news and information, neither of which are generally provided by commercial radio. WYSU also acts as a daily representative of Youngstown State University, with the possibility to reach more people on a given day than all other university activities combined.
