I currently write two blogs: a political blog, "Reason," for the Vindicator and a personal one, "Youngstown Renaissance," for my other interests. The word renaissance in the title serves a dual purpose. The city of Youngstown is undergoing a renaissance in its vitality, and that's one of the reasons we returned to the city in 2007, so the blog celebrates that at every opportunity. At the same time, like both my parents, I have a number of varied interests, including writing, music, software, technology, politics, philosophy and religion. I may not spend enough time on each to be considered a renaissance man, but the title is an allusion to that aspiration.
